Ok , hello all , first I want to say that I used the advance search option of this forum and I didn't find the tittle(or topic) about this farming, I know there were some topics I posted my old video , but there isn't a topic about the great destroyer farming, so I made this one.

Now that the Zaishen are giving the quest "time of heroes" you can run this build in HM and NM , it works 100%, there is a build in the PvX website but I tried a few times that build , even if the build is recommended , it doesn't work

!

So here it is , resurrecting a build from 2007

All you need :

-A Monk/Dervish character
-A weapon (one handed) with 20% enchantments
-The popular grim cesta -50 HP
-Armor set with sup. runes to have the 105 HP (+ the grim cesta = 55 HP)
-A smiting prayer head armor part with a sup. smiting prayers rune
-A divine favor head armor part with a sup. divine favor rune

Attributes:

-Smiting prayers 16
-Protectiob prayers 8
-Divine Favor 11
-Earth Prayers 9

Skills:

-Word of Censure [Elite]
-Spear of Light
-Protective Spirit
-"You Move Like a Dwarf" (Norn skill)
-Mystic Regeneration
-Balthazar's Spirit
-Essence Bond
-Blessed Aura

How it works:

-Make sure you have the Deldrimor Title track selected before entering the mission.
-When you start the mission , swap your smiting head armor for the divine favor head armor and cast Blessed Aura (so we have a 30% longer enchantments), then swap back to your smiting head armor (so you have 16 in smiting prayers)
-Cast the other 2 enchantments (Balth spirit and Essence)
-Go directly to the Great Destroyer but before entering the lava , cast prot. spirit + mystic regen. (very important you keep this two enchantments up all the time)
-When infront of the great destroyer spam Word of censure and Spear of Light
-The important part: Use the norn skill ("You Move Like a Dwarf") to interrupt the Great Destroyer Skill "Lava Wave" , if you don't you will fail ! if you dont interrupt his skill he can summon more destroyer (necro or ranger none of them are good for you !)
-Keep spamming Word of censure and Spear of Light and interrupting him when using his skill "Lava Wave" until he is dead.

Important notes:

-Don't interrupt other skills from the Great Destroyer, just interrupt his skill "Lava Wave"
-If a Necro Destroyer or a Ranger Destroyer spawn at the beginning resign and start the mission again.

If I can suggest dropping Earth Prayers to 8, and raising Protection Prayers to 9, you'll save a little bit of energy and still be meeting the breakpoint on Mystic Regeneration.

I'll give this a try later tonight, thanks for sharing!

You can do this with an Assassin and heroes aswell.

Yup , thats the build in PvX website, but it doesn't work well for me in HM , Shield of Regeneration isn't that great because of its energy cost, I get lot of damage and I need to recast Shield of Regeneration + Protective Spirit , and Shield of Regeneration with 15 energy cost and only having 1 enchantment returning energy is to expensive to maintain. Plus you need to spam the visages + Illusion of Pain.

Lmao, so it only works 100% of the time if a necro or ranger doesnt spawn? i think you are contridicting yourself. But on the plus side thanks for the build

if u cant use the 55 build on pvvx you need to practice at being a 55 m8

yup if a necro or ranger isn't there , normally 2 warrior destroyer spawn , the build works 100%, I didn't say 100% of the time.

Isn't this build a 55 ? lol , I was playing the monk 55 since 2006 dude , I am just saying that I prefer this build because is more easy to handle than the pvx one.
